Positive, full-bodied, quite powerful, there is the expected creme de cassis and blackberry from St. Helena Cabernets, with mineral, herb, subtle tobacco, vanilla, plum skins, pie crust, purple flowers, forest-conifer notes, and very fine tannic structure.
