Jeb Dunnuck Review Rated 98 Based on 100% Cabernet Franc, the 2018 Cabernet Franc reveals a dense purple hue to go with a gorgeous, classic Cabernet Franc bouquet of ripe black fruits, chocolate, sappy spring flowers, and iron, with a distinct sense of minerality on both the nose and palate. Pure, focused, and beautifully balanced, with ultra-fine tannins and a thrilling finish, outside of a few wines in Napa and Washington, it's the finest expression of Cabernet Franc from the New World. Drink now-2036. Wine
Tasting Notes
Reflecting the elegance of the vintage, this wine opens up straight out of the glass with a floral perfume and notes of cigar ash, leather, spice, cedar and an abundance of red and black cherries. Complex and layered, it is full- bodied and very well structured to sustain great potential for aging. The tannins are silky and velvety - accompanied by a great balance and freshness. The finish is long and will not stop on the palette. Incredibly concentrated yet elegant, it keeps you coming back for more. Cabernet Franc 94%, Cabernet Sauvignon 6%, Alcohol 15.0%
