Pleinair presents our interpretation of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The name refers to the French painters' method of painting outdoors (en plein air), which developed around the same time as Napa's first European-style vineyards in the 1800s.Grapes for this wine come from throughout the valley’s diverse soils and micro-climates; careful blending brings complexity and depth to the wine’s rich black fruit, spice, and floral notes—all supported with balanced acidity and a firm tannin structure. This dark purple red wine is redolent of floral notes, cassis and dried herbs. The full palate features crushed dark fruit, mocha, elegant tannins and a long finish. Pair with rack of lamb, butcher steak cuts and a cheese platter. This bottled California cabernet sauvignon is 14.5% alcohol by volume.
