Tasting Notes
The House of the Dragon California Cabernet is dense, rich and jammy with scents of cherry tobacco and vanilla creme and a long, mouth coating finish with a touch of sweetness. Alcohol 14.0% WINEMAKING Aged between 9 to 12 months in a mixture of French oak and then is finished with 3 months in barrels which were previously filled with bourbon that aged anywhere between 5 to 8 years. The aged bourbon barrels impart a bolder and more intense character. VINEYARDS We traveled across the best regions of California sourcing the highest quality fruit possible. The diversity of the vineyards allow us to make a final blend that expresses concentration, complexity and richness.
