<p>Oban, or 'Gateway to the Isles', was founded in 1794 by John and Hugh Stevenson. Today our whisky is made using only the finest barley, malted to the distillery's own particular specifications and finally distilled using lamp glass-shaped stills. Marrying the sea air character of the Island malts to the soft, fruity style of the Highlands, Oban's attractive West Highland character reflects its location and makes for an unforgettable drinking experience.</p>
