The Pa'lante Dark Rum is a uniquely Mexican rum. The youngest rum in the blend is 8 years old. Half of the blend was aged in traditional American white oak barrels and the other half in Mexican white oak. The latter develops a more tannic rum with notes of tobacco and leather, while the former brings the traditional vanilla and spice notes. It makes for a great sipping experience as well as cigar pairing. Great in an Old Fashioned and your classic aged rum cocktails.
