The deep purple color of the wine extends all the way to the rim of the glass and gives way to an explosive nose that is the essence of Napa Valley, black fruit, dark cocoa, coffee and deep plum. The flavors of chocolate, blackberry, bay laurel and sweet French oak penetrate the palate and last for minutes. There is strength and power but constrained with bright acidity, fruit and just the right amount of balancing tannin. The wine is savory and chewy as well as bright and vibrant. 92% Cabernet sauvignon, 3% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Malbec, and 1% Petit Verdot Alcohol 14.0%
