With its heavy clay soils, this site is ideal for white grape varieties, says winemaker Alison Rodriguez. The wine is fermented in stainless steel, with 6% fermented in neutral French oak barrels. Both lots are stirred on the lees, then blended after four months of ageing, just before bottling. This is a bright, lifted Sauvignon Blanc with ripe apple and pear notes, hints of lime citrus, valley summer grass, and a pop of white flowers. Medium-bodied, it strikes a lovely balance between ripe orchard and stone fruits, a touch of melon, and plenty of tension and energy. Its freshness builds beautifully on the palate, making it an excellent, food-friendly Sauvignon Blanc to enjoy now or over the next 3-5 years. Drinking Window 025-2029.
