2020 CA STATE FAIR - 99 POINTS DOUBLE GOLD, 2019 CA STATE FAIR - 96 POINTS GOLD, 2019 SFC SILVER, 2018 SFC SILVER. Our winemakers, modern-day Buccaneers, explore the vineyards from ridge-top to valley floor in search of the ripest blocks to bring to the winery. After harvest they plunder the cellar to find the best of the lots to craft this dark, stormy, and mysterious wine. Showing superb raspberries, the lively and rich Buccaneer Zinfandel is the varietal's poster child - long and exciting in the finish.
