The Van Ruiten Zinfandel is soft, yet structured, and prominently displays flavors of blackberry, blueberry and red cherry, with soft undertones of dark chocolate and tobacco. Barrel flavors of coffee, anise and cedar appear on the generous finish. These hand picked grapes hail from the original vines that John Van Ruiten Sr. planted in 1952.
