Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of absinthe and 1 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Step 3.
- Add 1/2 oz of simple syrup for sweetness, balance, and stir with ice until well chilled.
Step 4.
- Remove ice water from the coupe glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint for an aromatic finish.
