Step 1.
- Brew a strong shot of espresso and allow it to cool slightly.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 1.5 oz of amaro, 1 oz of cooled espresso, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a few coffee beans on top.
