Bijou
A classic cocktail that combines gin, vermouth, and chartreuse, evoking the colors of a jewel—the traditional Bijou is a sophisticated and herbal drink.
Instructions
- Chill a Nick and Nora glass by filling it with ice water.
- In a mixing glass, add 1.5 oz of gin, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 0.5 oz of green Chartreuse.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for about 20 seconds until well chilled.
- Discard the ice water from the chilled glass.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
