Step 1.
- In a shaker, combine the whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white.
Step 2.
- Dry shake (no ice) for about 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
Step 3.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake again until chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass filled with ice.
Step 5.
- Carefully float red wine on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and a cherry.
