Step 1.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Step 2.
- Add 2.0 oz bourbon to the shaker.
Step 3.
- Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and add 0.5 oz simple syrup.
Step 4.
- Shake well until chilled.
Step 5.
- Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
Step 6.
- Top up with soda water to taste.
Step 7.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and a cherry.
