Instructions

Step 1.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together 4 large egg yolks and 1/3 cup of granulated sugar until pale and smooth.
Step 2.
- Stir in 2 cups of whole milk and 1 cup of heavy cream until well combined.
Step 3.
- Add 1 cup of bourbon and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
Step 4.
- In a separate bowl, beat 4 large egg whites until they form stiff peaks.
Step 5.
- Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the eggnog mixture until fully incorporated for added creaminess.
Step 6.
- Chill the eggnog in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Step 7.
- Serve in an eggnog cup, garnished with a sprinkle of ground nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
