Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the apple cider over medium heat until warm.
- Add the bourbon, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise to the saucepan.
- Stir gently and let the mixture simmer for about 5-10 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse.
- Remove from heat and strain the cider through a fine mesh sieve to discard the spices.
- Pour the warm spiced cider into a mug.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an apple slice.
