- Dip the moistened rim into sugar to create a sugared crust.

- In a shaker, combine 2 oz of bourbon whiskey, 1/2 oz of fresh lemon juice, 1/2 oz of simple syrup, and 1 dash of bitters.
Step 4.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Step 5.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared coupe glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
