The Buck's Fizz was created in the 1920s in London, originally intended as a lighter alternative to the traditional Mimosa, combining the effervescence of sparkling wine with fresh orange juice.
Instructions
Step 1.
- Chill a flute glass in the refrigerator or fill it with ice water.
Step 2.
- Pour 2 parts chilled sparkling wine into the flute.
Step 3.
- Add 1 part freshly squeezed orange juice to the sparkling wine.
Step 4.
- Gently stir to combine the ingredients without losing the bubbles.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a slice of orange on the rim.
