Instructions

Step 1.
- Chill the cocktail glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
Step 2.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of cachaça, 0.5 oz of crème de Violette, 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz of maraschino liqueur.
Step 3.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled cocktail glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled cocktail glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry on a cocktail pick.
