A tropical twist on the classic French 75, using cachaça instead of gin to bring a refreshing, fruity flavor to this sparkling cocktail.
Instructions
- Chill a champagne flute by filling it with ice water.
- In a shaker, combine 1.5 oz cachaça, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled flute and strain the mixture into the glass.
- Top with 2 oz of sparkling wine.
- Garnish with a lemon twist. Serve immediately.
