Instructions

Step 1.
- Chill a champagne flute by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 1.5 oz cachaça, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled flute and strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 5.
- Top with 2 oz of sparkling wine.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a lemon twist. Serve immediately.
