This cocktail is a reinterpretation of the Prohibition-era Last Word, traditionally made with gin, but here it celebrates the distinct essence of cachaça, reflecting Brazil's vibrant cocktail culture.

Instructions

Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water and set aside.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 3/4 oz of cachaça, 3/4 oz of green chartreuse, 3/4 oz of maraschino liqueur, and 3/4 oz of fresh lime juice.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
