Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of cachaça, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
Step 3.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir well for about 30 seconds until chilled.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the mixture into the coupe glass.
Step 6.
- Twist an orange peel over the drink to release the oils, then drop it as a garnish.
