The Caipirinha, Brazil's national cocktail, traditionally uses cachaça, a spirit made from sugarcane. The addition of acerola cherry adds a sweet and tart dimension, making it a refreshing summer drink.
Instructions
Step 1.
- Cut the acerola cherries in half and place them in the glass.
Step 2.
- Add sugar to the glass and muddle the cherries with the sugar to release the juices.
Step 3.
- Pour cachaça over the muddled mixture.
