Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of rye whiskey, 1/2 ounce of sweet vermouth, and 1/4 ounce of fresh lemon juice.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake well until chilled.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled coupe glass.
- Strain the mixture into the coupe glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
