Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of gin, 1/2 oz of sweet vermouth, 1/4 oz of maraschino liqueur, and 1/4 oz of fresh lemon juice.
Step 3.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake well for about 15 seconds until the mixture is chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
