Step 1.
- Fill a mixing glass with ice.
Step 2.
- Pour in 2 oz of cask strength whiskey.
Step 3.
- Add 0.5 oz of sweet vermouth.
Step 4.
- Add 0.25 oz of simple syrup.
Step 5.
- Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
Step 6.
- Stir well until chilled.
Step 7.
- Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
Step 8.
- Garnish with a twist of orange peel.
