Step 1.
- Chill a champagne flute in the freezer or fill it with ice water for a few minutes.

- In a mixing glass, combine gin and lemon juice over ice. Stir gently to chill.

- Strain the mixture into the chilled champagne flute.

- Top off the glass with champagne.

- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
