Step 1.
- Chill the champagne flute in the refrigerator or with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 1 oz of gin and 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice.
Step 3.
- Add 0.5 oz of simple syrup and fill the shaker with ice.
Step 4.
- Shake well until chilled and strain into the prepared champagne flute.
Step 5.
- Top with 3 oz of chilled champagne.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
