Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, add 2 ounces of gin and 1 ounce of dry vermouth.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the glass and strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Top with 2 ounces of chilled champagne.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
