Cognac Sidecar
A classic cocktail combining the rich flavor of Cognac with the brightness of citrus and sweetness of orange liqueur, the Cognac Sidecar is both sophisticated and refreshing.
Instructions
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz Cognac, 1 oz orange liqueur, and 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Dump the ice water from the chilled glass.
- Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
