History

Instructions

Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz Cognac, 1 oz orange liqueur, and 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Dump the ice water from the chilled glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
