Step 1.
- In a shaker, combine the whiskey, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white.
Step 2.
- Dry shake (without ice) for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
Step 3.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for another 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
