The Cynar Julep combines the traditional minty flavors of a Julep with the unique bitterness of Cynar, a liqueur made from artichokes and herbs, offering a contemporary spin on a classic cocktail.
Instructions
Step 1.
- Muddle fresh mint leaves and simple syrup at the bottom of a julep cup.
Step 2.
- Add Cynar and fill the cup with crushed ice.
Step 3.
- Stir gently to combine the ingredients and chill the drink.
Step 4.
- Top off with more crushed ice as needed to create a dome.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
