Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a mixing glass, combine 1.5 ounces of aged rum, 0.75 ounces of sweet vermouth, and 0.5 ounces of orange liqueur.
Step 3.
- Add two dashes of Angostura bitters.
Step 4.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled.
Step 5.
- Discard the ice water from the coupe glass and strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
