History
The Bramble cocktail originated in the UK during the 1980s, created by bartender Dick Bradsell. This variation incorporates elderflower liqueur for a unique twist.
Instructions
Step 1.
- Muddle 4 fresh blackberries in the bottom of an Old Fashioned glass.
Step 2.
- Add 2 oz of gin and 1 oz of elderflower liqueur.
Step 3.
- Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon (about 0.5 oz).
Step 4.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice and stir gently to combine.
Step 5.
- Top with additional crushed ice if needed.
Step 6.
- Garnish with fresh blackberries and a sprig of mint.
