Instructions
- Muddle fresh mint leaves with sugar in the bottom of a julep cup.
- Add crushed ice to the cup, filling it halfway.
- Pour in bourbon and elderflower liqueur over the ice.
- Stir gently to mix and chill the ingredients.
- Top with more crushed ice, heaping it above the rim of the cup.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of lime.
