Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.

- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of gin, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of orange bitters.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
