Instructions

Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
Step 2.
- In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of gin, 3/4 oz of fresh lemon juice, 1/2 oz of simple syrup, and a dash of Angostura bitters.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass using a fine mesh strainer to catch any ice shards.
