Step 1.
- Chill a champagne flute by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water for a few minutes.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 2 ounces of gin and 1 ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
Step 4.
- Strain the mixture into the chilled champagne flute.
Step 5.
- Top off the glass with 3 ounces of sparkling wine.
Step 6.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
