Instructions

Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water.
Step 2.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of brandy, 3/4 ounce of Cointreau, and 3/4 ounce of fresh lemon juice.
Step 3.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled, about 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled coupe glass.
Step 5.
- Strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 6.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
