History

The Hugo Spritz originated in Northern Italy and quickly became popular as a light, fragrant aperitif, especially during the summer months.

Instructions

Step 1.
- In a wine glass, add ice cubes until the glass is filled.
Step 2.
- Pour 1.5 oz of Prosecco over the ice.
Step 3.
- Add 1 oz of elderflower syrup to the glass.
Step 4.
- Top off with 2 oz of soda water.
Step 5.
- Gently stir the mixture to combine.
Step 6.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lime.
