Mai Tai (Classic 1944)
A vibrant and refreshing cocktail with tropical flavors, balancing the sweetness of rum and the tartness of lime.
Instructions
- In a shaker, combine light rum, dark rum, orange liqueur, orgeat syrup, and fresh lime juice over ice.
- Shake well until chilled.
- Strain into a double old fashioned glass filled with crushed ice.
- Float dark rum on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
- Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a lime wheel.
