Metaxa Old Fashioned
A Greek twist on the classic Old Fashioned, featuring the rich flavors of Metaxa brandy, complemented by bitters and a touch of sweetness.
Instructions
- Add a sugar cube to an Old Fashioned glass.
- Douse the sugar cube with 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
- Add a few dashes of orange bitters (optional).
- Muddle the sugar and bitters until well combined.
- Add 2 ounces of Metaxa brandy to the glass.
- Fill the glass with a large ice cube.
- Stir gently to combine and chill the drink.
- Garnish with an orange twist, expressing the oils over the drink.
