Step 1.
- Fill a shaker with ice.
Step 2.
- Add 2 oz of mezcal to the shaker.
Step 3.
- Pour in 1 oz of crème de cassis.
Step 4.
- Squeeze the juice of half a lime (about 0.5 oz) into the shaker.
Step 5.
- Shake well until chilled.
Step 6.
- Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice.
Step 7.
- Top with soda water to taste.
Step 8.
- Garnish with a lime wheel and a sprig of mint.
