Instructions
- In a mixing glass, combine the sugar and hot water, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add the base spirit (rum) and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the mixture.
- Pour in the milk gradually while stirring to ensure a smooth consistency.
- Strain the mixture into a shaker filled with ice and shake well to chill and combine.
- Strain into a punch glass over ice.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg.
