A refreshing twist on the classic Negroni, substituting Prosecco for gin for a lighter, sparkling version.
History
The Negroni Sbagliato originated in Italy and is said to have been created by mistake when a bartender mistakenly used sparkling wine instead of gin while preparing a Negroni. This happy accident has since become a popular cocktail in its own right.
Instructions
Step 1.
- Fill a rocks glass with ice.
Step 2.
- Pour in equal parts of sweet vermouth and Campari.
Step 3.
- Top with Prosecco and gently stir to combine.
Step 4.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
