Instructions

Step 1.
- Fill a shaker with ice and add 2 oz of bourbon, 3/4 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 1/2 oz of simple syrup.
Step 2.
- Shake well until chilled, about 15 seconds.
Step 3.
- Strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass filled with ice.
Step 4.
- Gently float 1/2 oz of red wine over the back of a spoon so it rests on top of the cocktail.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel and a cherry.
