The Peppermint Mudslide emerged as a seasonal favorite in the 1980s, blending the beloved Mudslide recipe with peppermint to create a holiday-themed cocktail that is popular at winter gatherings.
Instructions
Step 1.
- Chill the cocktail glass in the freezer.
Step 2.
- In a shaker, combine 1.5 oz of vodka, 1 oz of coffee liqueur, 1 oz of Irish cream liqueur, and 1 oz of peppermint schnapps.
Step 3.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
Step 4.
- Remove the cocktail glass from the freezer and strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 5.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle crushed peppermint candies over the top.
