A refreshing twist on the classic Corpse Reviver No. 2 with the exotic flavor of pisco.
History
The Corpse Reviver No. 2 is said to have originated in the early 20th century as a hangover remedy. This version uses pisco, a grape brandy from Peru or Chile, adding a unique dimension to the traditional recipe.
Instructions
Step 1.
- Chill a coupe glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
Step 2.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 oz of Pisco, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, 1 oz of orange liqueur, and 1 oz of fresh lemon juice.
Step 3.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake well for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Step 4.
- Dump the ice water from the coupe glass and strain the mixture into the glass.
Step 5.
- Garnish with a lemon twist to enhance the aroma.
