Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of rye whiskey.
- Add 3/4 oz of fresh lemon juice.
- Mix in 1/2 oz of simple syrup.
- Add a dash of absinthe to the shaker.
- Fill with ice and shake well until chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
